MiP test was
sick, but Food Science was alright. Sigh, I think I'm border-line passing/failing 2 modules 'cos I already started celebrating on Thursday by wacthing "Dead Rising" and "Left 4 Dead" gameplay videos on youtube :P In all, APChem was the
sickest paper in my opinion.
So yesterday, half the class went to The Cathay to have lunch at Aston's before watching "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen".
If you want good food, go to Astons.
If you want food with good value, go to Astons.
If you want good service, DON'T go to Astons.
I found some very disturbing answers while we were waiting in line for our turn to get seats. So Jin Lee has worked [notice the past-tense] there before, but the boss still treat him like he works under him? The boss was like "Eh Jin Lee, don't like that leh." Huh? He's your ex-employee and now your customer, is this the way you treat your customers?
Even when I brought my family and relatives to eat at Shin Kushiya, Shermaine [my manager] treated me very politely as though I was her first customer. Even my colleagues treated me professionally, although they do joke around a little bit by asking me to take the orders and key it into the system on my own.
So that was number one. Number two: my food arrived first. It was chargrilled salmon fillet with rice and onion rings as side dishes but they owed me the onion rings. Alright, I'm okay, just gotta wait a while. But then Qiao Xin's food came and there was onion rings on her plate, not mine? Later on, everyone has gotten their food except for Esthers' [they're prolly slaughtering chickens directly from the farm 'cos they ran outta chicken I THINK] and I still haven't got my side-dish. Several waiters came back to our table and re-checked and checked and checked. Finally mine arrived after like, what, an hour?
Number three: they ran out of potatoes. Wait wait, now here's the funny thing. They ran outta potatoes before they served Jenny and someone else [I forgot] and their food arrived with the side-dish changed to pasta salad. Esther's food was the last to arrive and there's a BAKED POTATO on her plate?! This is hilarious! So you're telling me that you guys found one potato hiding at the back corner of the oven?
Number four. Our Da Jie, Serena, requested a bottle of Tabasco sauce and it took like half an hour. She informed a waiter, then 15 minutes later, a waiter came back and asked has she gotten her Tabasco sauce. 10 minutes later the sauce finally came.
Number five. There were 5 guys sitting at the neighbouring table - Jin Lee, Chon Mun, Chin Ping, Timothy and Kiat Lun - and there should be five dishes, am I right? But! It took one waiter to serve 2 dishes, one waiter to serve another and one to ask if their dishes or side dishes have came. Huh? If you were sitting there, would you find 3 waiters standing there kind of intimidating or maybe, unnecessary?
Lastly, number six. [Wow, six points] As we made our way out of the restaurant, we saw several waiters having nothing to do. And at the outside seats, there were gazillions - okay, don't exaggerate - ten plates for them to clear.
But overall, if you're bringing your friends to Aston's to have a chat, have lunch and just taking all the time you have in the world, Aston's not a big problem to you. But if you're particular and picky... I suggest you go somewhere else.
Rating: 4.8/5
Grand Cathay's speakers are literally giving me adrenaline rush with more than 10 speakers booming out so much bass. This movie's definitely worth to watch.
Some people felt the first movie was better but I liked this more. Maybe it's because this second movie was shot in many different places around the world than the first one. Then again, sometimes you can't make out which robot is fighting which because they don't look complete! Agh, it's so difficult to describe - go watch it yourselves.
In all, this is one action movie that keeps your heart pumping even after the movie. Especially with the background music based as "New Divide" by Linkin Park makes it even more incredible.

Kevin Jonas is ENGAGED!
Kevin Jonas is engaged!
The oldest Jonas Bro, 22, popped the question to girlfriend Danielle Deleasa, 21, today, his rep confirms to Usmagazine.com.
He surprised Deleasa, a former hairdresser, with a cushion-cut diamond ring he codesigned with Jacob & Co. by showing up at her New Jersey home this morning.
The couple met in May 2007 while on vacation in the Bahamas with their families.
"Our hearts are filled with joy today and we are happy to share with you that our son Kevin has asked Danielle for her hand in marriage," parents Denise and Kevin Jonas Sr. tell Us in a statement.
"Her answer was yes, and it is such a blessing that she will be joining our family. Kevin and Danielle have not yet set a date," they continue. "Family is very dear to us, and we hope we have raised Kevin to be a wonderful man and husband. Please join us in our family's celebration and in congratulating Kevin and Danielle. Thank you for all of your support."
In 2008, Kevin told Details he was waiting until marriage to have sex, and wearing a promise ring from Tiffany's in the meantime.
"It's pretty rock and roll," Kevin said. "It's getting banged up a little bit because of the guitar."
